Our Mission

We are collaborating with academic research labs to train our CNN algorithm to recognize various types of stem cells. After consulting with several research labs and pharmaceutical companies, we established a pipeline technology to achieve high performance on cell classification and artificial cell staining. The goal is to apply StemImage technology to drug discovery projects, stem cell quality control, and potential applications in clinical practices, especially for tissue replacement therapy and stem cell regeneration.

We aim at providing an efficient, low cost, and accurate cell image analysis tool to help researchers to speed up their scientific discovery.

An example of the automated cell staining. On the left-side, it shows a cell image taken by a normal light microscope. After putting the image in our trained CNN algorithm, it generates an artificially stained cell image, shown on the right (the nuclei of the cells are "stained" with blue color, and the cytoplasm is shown in green. The artificial "staining" process is automated and only takes <1 second as oppose to the 2-day immunofluorescent manual staining process.
